  • No. Medicapp aims to serve for the betterment of those who work selflessly to serve for the better health of the society. Our Practice Management Software is completely free to use for the doctors. We only charge per appointment booked through us at a nominal price for maintaining user and patient data records.

  • To get started with Medicapp, download the Medicapp app from Google play store or App store and register using your mobile number, email or social media in the platform. After registering on the app, you need to complete your profile setup and KYC verification to complete the onboarding process. Once you complete the onboarding process, you can add your availability or schedule and assign slots to start accepting appointments.

  • After sign up with Medicapp, you’ll have to follow certain conditions in order to publish your profile in the platform. The conditions are as under:
    • You understand and agree with the terms and conditions, privacy policy as specified and drafted by Medicapp.
    • While sign up with Medicapp and thereafter, all the information provided from your end are relevant and true to the best of your knowledge.
    • Contact number for connecting with you in regard of booking appointments are to be provided.

    • You are sincere to your service and honour the appointments that you confirm through our booking system and confirm any cancellation of booking or time slots at least 2 (two) hours prior to appointment timing.
    • You inform your staffs or employees elaborately on how Medicapp works so as to maintain smooth workflow and increased productivity.

  • Once you complete providing details of your user profile and chamber profile, our team will verify your chamber location, the details of both sections of your profile and your medical licence and registration number. Once verification is complete, your profile will be published within 2 (two) hours. The verification time should not exceed more than 5 working days but still if it does, you may drop your query or complaints at and our team will get back to you within a day positively to resolve any issues.

  • No. According to clause 6.1.1 of chapter 6 of the MCI guidelines for professional conduct, etiquettes and ethics, a physician shall not make use of him/her (or his/her name) as subject of any form or manner of advertising or publicity through any mode either alone or in conjunction with others which is of such a character as to invite attention to him or to his professional position, skill, qualification, achievements, attainments, specialities, appointments, associations, affiliations or honours and/or of such character as would ordinarily result in his/her self aggrandizement. The basis of every doctor listing throughout the platform is on as-is model and the listings are on relevance order. We completely honour and abide by the MCI Code of Conduct and do not promote advertisement and publicity of doctor profiles anyway. However, for clinics, paid advertisements are allowed which is on our upcoming scope of services.

  • Yes. You can add multiple chamber location by adding the title of location and locating the address of the chamber on map. The chamber locations will be verified by our data team physically and updated within 2 (two) hours. Once your chamber location is updated, you can always edit them. For every update of location, there will be verification after which chamber locations will be visible to public.

  • To start receiving your earnings online, you need to necessarily add your bank account and verify your bank account details. After your bank account details are verified, you can withdraw your earnings to your bank account which is processed within 30 minutes but the earnings may take upto 24 to 48 hours to reflect in your bank account.

  • Yes. To receive your earnings in cash from online appointments, you need to enable Pay at Chamber option under Settings in Accounts tab. Cash earnings can be only be accepted from appointments with Pay at Chamber as payment method. Note: Accepting cash earnings is a matter of choice for patients from doctors with Pay at Chamber enabled. If your Pay at Chamber is enabled but your patient chose to pay online, then in such case you cannot receive your earnings in cash.

  • Yes. Every data in our platform will be secured by a 256-bit end-to-end encryption. We will adopt every possible action to block cyber attacks. We are following stringent data security measures to safeguard your data from attackers. Transmission of data from website to server and vice-versa will be protected by cryptographic hash functions. Your trust on us is our first priority and the key component in our journey from a start-up to a leading healthcare ISV in India. If our doctors are happy with our endless endeavour in providing seamless experience of practice management, we promise to ensure maximum possible safety measures so that we can pay our hearty gratitude to keep the faith intact.

  • According to clause 1.3.1 of chapter 1 of MCI guidelines, every physician shall maintain the medical records pertaining to his/her indoor patients for a period of 3 years from the date of commencement of treatment. All your data with regard to your appointment or consultation management will be stored in our server up to a maximum of 3 years after which a copy of the data will be permanently deleted from our servers. You may keep backup of such data if and when required.

  • No. Initially we do not allow access, storage and transmission of Electronic Medical Record (EMR). We recommend you to not share any Sensitive Health Information in our platform as the security of your data is our utmost duty. Your support and trust on us will definitely help us introduce such feature in the coming future.
